Spark Downtown Metuchen Pop Up Shop Intake Form
Welcome to Spark Downtown Metuchen! This innovative space located at 450 Main Street Metuchen NJ is a model developed by the Metuchen Downtown Alliance (“MDA”) to help curate complementary retail experiences to our thriving downtown! We encourage artists, photographers, makers, and creators to consider this space as a way to showcase their pieces, create a unique space for their business and share their talents with the community.
The space is 19ft x 8ft (c.a. 150 square feet) and is inclusive of modular wall shelving units (as pictured), check out desk (as pictured) and a separate Main Street entrance at 450 Main Street.
How does it work?
- Small Business Operators and all lease term shall be approved at the sole discretion of the Metuchen Downtown Alliance.
- A lease agreement will be signed between the Operator and the MDA for the space at 450 Main Street.
- All Operators must be independently insured for their business with all required licenses to operate and shall name the Metuchen Downtown Alliance as additional insured party in an amount prescribed by the terms of the lease agreement.
- All Operators must independently obtain all required license(s) to operate pursuant to any municipal and state requirements.
- Spaces are available for a term of of 1 month or more months (as determined by the MDA) and will be required to managed and staffed by the Operator at days and hours prescribed by the Metuchen Downtown Alliance.
