Julia Win
Julia Virginia Win is a New Jersey reuse artist, muralist, and educator who transforms discarded plastics into large‑scale public artworks that promote sustainability and community engagement. Her installations appear throughout the state, she won the 2023 Middlesex County Mural Design Contest, and she regularly exhibits work including sketchbooks at the Princeton Arts Council. She also leads recycled‑art education programs, co‑founded the Children’s Museum of Central Jersey, and works part‑time as a Concept Artist for STRANS engineering.
Sarai L. Araiza
Sarai L. Araiza is a multidisciplinary Edison‑based artist whose acrylic paintings—along with work in pastels and watercolor—draw deeply from her Mexican heritage to explore humanity, culture, and emotion through vibrant, expressive color. She began painting in 2020 during the pandemic, discovering a fulfilling creative practice that builds on her background in dance and her ongoing study of other artists’ techniques. Now pursuing Art Teacher Certification at Kean University, Araiza has exhibited work in Texas and New Jersey and continues to expand her practice with new projects rooted in her cultural identity and personal journey.
Joseph Castronova
Joseph Castronova is an artist, educator and environmentalist working in central New Jersey. A builder of artworks that blur the lines between painting and sculpture as well as abstraction and realism, he terms the work “Riotous Simultaneity .” Growing up in NYC in the 1980s, Joseph’s work has roots in graffiti and punk rock DIY. Environmental issues, how we perceive and educate on them has always been central to his life. His work is an invitation in to another realm of nature where internal dialogue, real time and memory exist together. The viewer is asked to be an active participant in a search rather than a passive observer.
Jonathan Horowitz
Jonathan Horowitz is a Highland Park–based educator, muralist, and writer who has spent over fifteen years advancing Creative Placemaking and community‑driven public art. He has completed murals across New Jersey and New York, including contributions to major projects like Newark’s {PORTRAITS} mural and Far Rockaway’s 500‑foot Birds of Paradise. Alongside his public art work, he develops health‑equity policy interventions, teaches creative writing to teens, and holds an MFA in Fiction and Literary Translation from Columbia University.
Bob Diken
Robert is a self‑taught artist whose work is driven by spontaneous exploration across painting, collage, assemblage, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. His practice evolved from interpretive watercolor landscapes into abstract and sculptural forms, especially inspired by hand‑built clay pieces. Guided by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi‑Sabi, he embraces imperfection, natural change, and tactile materials to stay present in the creative process and allow authentic, intuitive expression.
Lamont K. Draper, Jr.
Lamont is a Union County–based graphic artist and illustrator whose career began after graduating Linden High School with honors and pursuing fine arts and illustration at Union County College. His work has appeared in the fashion world through collaborations with Stylus Apparel and Kill Brand LA, and has been featured on major platforms including Hypebeast, High Snobiety, and XXL. In recent years, he has been deeply involved in Newark’s arts community—working with RyArMo Photography Studios, Yendor LLC, Steam Urban, and 7 Shades of Hue—and is currently a member of the Westfield Art Association, continuing his mission to “be a bold line that helps outline the beauty.”
Mike Riveley
Metuchen resident and artist, Mike Riveley, has been tattooing for over 22 years. He specializes in large scale Japanese tattooing, often called Irezumi. Matching traditional Japanese designs with the body’s anatomy, he creates sleeves, backpieces and bodysuits. All of which require dedication and perseverance by both the collector and artist, as some pieces can take years to complete. You can find him at Classic Tattoo Club at 327 Main St in Metuchen.
RH Doaz
RH Doaz is a New Jersey–based painter, illustrator, and muralist whose work blends graffiti’s raw energy with the symbolism and patterning of Hungarian folk art, creating a style often described as urban folk. His vibrant birds, characters, and patterned compositions balance whimsy with quiet seriousness, reflecting the imperfect beauty found in everyday life. A Defiance College graduate, Doaz has exhibited widely across the tri‑state area, painted murals for over twenty years, and was featured by the Smithsonian in an exhibition recognizing New Jersey’s leading mural artists.
Bella Wess
Bella Wess is a painter working in acrylic and watercolor whose emotionally warm, folk‑influenced style centers on the quiet character of everyday homes. Drawn to moments when a house feels most alive, she works from photographs to create a growing series of over 25 paintings that evoke comfort, familiarity, and a sense of safety. Her work has been exhibited locally, earned steady commissions, and continues to build recognition within the community as she invites viewers to connect with the idea of home.
Eloisa Cea
Eloisa is a Filipina immigrant who dared to dream to share her art with people. The main focus of her art pieces revolve around her roots. Her art style draws upon nostalgia, with connections to her own memories and moments in everyday life. Using oil paints, acrylic, gouache, water color, and polymer clay to convey her heartfelt message of each piece, she creates art prints, orginal paintings, polymer clay keychains, and stickers. As part of efforts to deepen connections with her community, she uses her art as a foundation for Give a Heart: a nonprofit organization based in the Philippines, collaborating with local governments to create, fund, and run various outreach programs for the community. Eloisa hopes to one day open a gallery to showcase her artwork, for many people to be able to experience the beautiful mundanity of life.
