Wear your Halloween costume and visit all your favorite businesses, enjoy Halloween music, play some great games on this very special Haunted Downtown!
This is a Haunted Downtown festival and not a trick or treating event, we encourage you to come out and enjoy Downtown Metuchen as our retailers get festive for this fun day!
Metuchen Downtown Alliance Events
- 12pm to 2:30pm – T-Rex walking through Downtown (N.B.: Dinosaurs need to rest and will be taking a break from about 12:45pm to 2pm)
- 11am to 3pm Corn Maze on New Street & Pumpkin Bounce House.
- DJ on Main St. Monster Mash dance off on the hour starting at 1pm.
- Halloween Costume Parade starting at 11:30am at Imagination Alley (445 Main Street)
- Carved Pumpkin Decorating Contest (drop off between 10am and 11am) at 446 Main Street (Peterson Park)
- Wheel of (Mis)Fortune – Make a purchase downtown and spin the wheel for a chance to win something special
- New Yorker cartoonist and Metuchen native Dan Misdea presenting his children’s Halloween book “The Light Inside”
- Spirit Table – A satirical take on fortune telling and your future (which is sure to be fun!)
- Haunted Scarolers on Main Street from 11am to 1pm
- Be-witchy! Make your own custom black witch or warlock hat ($5 for craft)
